A game we could have and should have won even with a weakened team out. Had we setup to start 4-4-2 and put Goulding in midfield and or taken a glut of chances we created! Our starting midfield 3 was not up to the task to be honest and we struggled. Not a great day for us as we virtually gave them 3 goals, missed a penalty and failed to compete in midfield for the first 45 minutes. Not sure about taking of Sambor and bringing on Mitchley who looks unfit for sure and then we had no pace upfront at all to crack a resilient Whitby defence. If Goulding is leaving in the new year then we are still 2 or 3 players short with Foley struggling for full fitness and some players off form! Disappointing sums it up.

Gutted today to be honest, think the Sambor sub confused him as much as us. McKenna scores the pen 2-2 at half time we probably go on to win the game. Not sure how Wardle doesn’t learn after giving away the exact same penalty as the other week? Missed Smart immensely as our centre mid was like a limb biscuit.

Where is Goulding off?
