Witton Albion vs Workington AFC.

Witton welcome relegation-threatened Workington AFC to Wincham Park on Saturday afternoon in an Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture. The Cumbrians now find themselves bottom of the table following the demise of North Ferriby United and have lost five of their last six games including a relegation six-pointer with Mickleover Sports in midweek, who ironically are Albion’s next opponents. They have faired better on the road than at home in recent weeks where they have managed to gain points from both of their last trips and will be battling hard again today. Witton go into the game still in tenth place and will be looking to close the gap which now sees them four points off seventh place and with games running out. They also have the chance to complete the double over the Cumbrians following a 2-0 success at Borough Park in February. Kick off at Wincham Park is 3pm.
