Witton Albion Women look forward to their first season in the Cheshire Women’s Youth League Premier Division, with a new management team and structure in place.

A number of last season’s title-winning squad have moved on and now, the younger ones can carry the mantle forward.

A big blow is losing last season’s leading goalscorer Aimee Gibson who has decided to move on.

Some of last season’s squad have agreed to stay on with the club notably: Jennifer Thompson, Kat Hulme, Natalie Chapman & Wing-back Ellie Wadsworth so far with others hopefully to come.

A number of new faces are also likely and further details will be announced in due course.

Midfielders Michaela Thompson and Mia Shepherd are the latest to re sign for the Women’s team ahead of the new season.

Goalkeeper Tracy Bolton is the latest to re sign for the Albion ahead of the new season.
