Witton Albion Women are in action on Sunday afternoon when they make their first-ever appearance in the Adobe Women’s FA Challenge Cup when they take on Ashton Town Women in the First Qualifying Round.
The team have progressed following Skipton Town’s withdrawal from the competition giving Witton a walkover to the next stage.
The game will be the first competitive game for the new management team of Paul Done and Coach Steve Hammill, and there are a number of new faces wearing the red and white stripes for the first time.
