Witton Albion Women are in action on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Winsford Town Ladies in a Cheshire Women’s Youth Football League Premier Division fixture.
The game has special significance and importance as it has Breast Cancer Awareness at the forefront.
Witton will wear a special pink kit for the game with “Against Breast Cancer” as a shirt sponsor.
There are a number of events taking place during the afternoon with live music, a raffle and Bingo with some amazing prizes to be won.
Winsford Town Ladies finished second to Witton Albion Women last season as Witton secured the Championship West title in their debut season.
Both teams have seen changes in personnel from last season and Winsford Town have secured the signature of a number of players from Witton, including last season’s Golden Boot winner Aimee Gibson.
The main aim is to raise awareness of Breast Cancer and we totally support the girls in their quest.
