Witton’s Youth team are in cup action on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Ashton Athletic in the North West Youth Alliance Open Cup. The youngsters have shown a big improvement over the past few games performance-wise without getting the results so, will be looking to progress through to the next stage against tough opponents. Should the game be drawn after normal time, a period of extra time will be played and then if scores are still level, the tie will be decided on penalties. The game is being played at Moss Farm with a 2pm kick off.
