Witton’s Youth team face a tough couple of days starting on Sunday afternoon when they welcome bottom club Morecambe FC in a North West Youth Alliance fixture, the first of two home fixtures on consecutive days. The Lancashire club find themselves at the foot of the table after having seven points deducted so Witton will be looking to continue their excellent league form against the side who knocked them out of the President’s Cup recently. Morecambe arrive at Moss Farm having lost five out of their six away games so far and will be hoping to put an end to that sequence. Kick off at Moss Farm is 2.30pm.

Witton’s Youth team went down to a 4-0 defeat against bottom club Morecambe FC at Moss Farm on Sunday afternoon.

The team are still handily placed in the league table but it must be a concern the number of goals being conceded in recent weeks. The last three games have seen fifteen goals put past them but they will continue to work hard as they have done all season and hopefully things will change for them.
