Witton Albion Youth Team are in Cup action on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Southport FC Youth, in the Semi Finals of the North West Youth Alliance Divisional Cup. Southport are currently second in the division and Witton are rooted at the bottom having lost all their league games so far this season but, have performed exceptionally well in the Cup to reach the last four having beaten Tranmere Rovers away from home on the way. The fixture is being played at The Moss Farm Leisure Complex with a 2pm kick off.

Why was it called off? I went past Moss Farm about 14:30, and there were 3 matches going on!

I looked on the North West Youth Alliance website after I couldn’t find the result and it’s on the fixture list for Sunday, 26th March, John Salmon had told me it was on the 19th as he wanted me to publicise it which was why I looked for the result. The ladies game was one of the three being played. Don’t know anymore than that.
