Witton’s Youth team completed their home programme in the North West Youth Alliance on Sunday afternoon as league leaders Stockport Georgians AFC completed the double and Witton’s run without a win stretched to seven games. In that time, Albion have only been able to muster a single point as their season draws to a very disappointing end.
The season which has proved very challenging but showed promise as the youngsters reached two cup Semi Finals, sees Witton in seventh place in the table going into their final game.
Stockport Georgians currently lead the table but they have completed their campaign and have a three point lead over third placed Heswall FC, who still have one game to play.
Witton finish their season on Tuesday evening with a trip to Egerton FC with a 7pm kick off.
