Witton Albion Youth vs Tranmere Rovers Youth.

Witton Albion Youth are in action on Sunday afternoon when they welcome third-placed Tranmere Rovers in a North West Youth Alliance First Division fixture. The Wirral club are currently one point behind leaders Heswall FC, but have played two games more going into the weekend programme. Witton have a ten point gap to bridge on their strong opponents. The game represents one of, if not the biggest challenge the youngsters face during the season particularly as Tranmere have the benefit of full-time training within a full-time system at a club who not so long ago were members of the football league. Despite the difference, Witton will be looking to put on a performance and will certainly show plenty of determination and spirit but whether that will be enough remains to be seen. The fixture at Moss Farm will kick off at 2pm.
