Witton Chimes Public House landlord Adam Prestage has organised a Charity football match in support of two of his regular customers, which is being held on SUNDAY, 18th JULY at Wincham Park from 2pm onwards.
The event is to raise funds for the families of two guys who are going through difficult times, James Tomlinson and Daz Porter. James is currently battling to recover from Covid 19 which saw him hospitalised for 14 weeks, and is having to use a wheelchair.
Daz Porter is another young guy, who suffered a stroke and is also needing the use of a wheelchair at the present time. Both of these guys have young families so any way we can support them would be gratefully appreciated.
The initial aim was to raise £500 but anything above that would be a tremendous help to the families and help to make their lives so much more bearable.
The Social Club will be open for drinks and refreshments but, please be mindful that Covid restrictions will still be in place at that time so please follow the guidelines.
Tickets cost £5 and are available from the following: Witton Chimes Public House, The Salt Barge & also Castle Private Club. People attending can also pay on the day.
