Witton in the Community

The Vale Royal School Sports Partnership have been running various sports tournaments down at Moss Farm all week long, with over 2,300 entrants from primary school pupils in Vale Royal.

We were lucky enough to be able to go down today to meet some of the kids and hand out some junior season tickets, so hopefully we’ll see plenty more Junior Albs in the coming season.

Special thanks to Matt Woolley (again) and Ben Harrison who took the time out to come down and play with the kids and present yet another positive image of the club amongst the locals.

There were plenty of parents there and we managed to speak to quite a few, and the reaction was all positive. got a couple of pictures, sorry for the poor quality. One of Matt and Ben having a game of 7 aside and one of them handing out the medals to the winners and runners up.

Just to echo Ste’s comments above - it definately went down well.

It was also mentioned how Witton seem to be the opposite of Vics in that everything we do is positive.

And, again, brilliant work by Yox & Robbo for keep Witton in the limelight.

Great work again Robbo and Ste B)

I used to play Moss Farm 7aside with Ben Harrison when he was 16/17 and even then he used to run the show, must have learnt his trade from playing along side me ha ha :woohoo:

Lets hope the Junior Albs get down and fill the Family Stand with their free season tickets!

Nice work dude.
