Witton Juniors Day - Saturday 25th October

Next Saturday sees us host a special day for all the juniors teams under the witton umbrella.

An extensive invite has gone out to all witton teams boys and girls from U4’s to U16’s and activities will be running from around 1.45.
We have a treasure hunt around the ground and a penalty shoot out with prizes for those taking part.

As a result you may well see (hopefully!) a lot more families and kids around the ground on Saturday.
A lot of hard work has gone into organising this event, over the last 4 weeks, so please be mindful with the language etc and make them welcome as it could be the firt but hopefully not the last time they visit!

Keep the faith.

We are hopeful that we will have 60-70 Witton Juniors and their families at tomorrows game.

Please make them feel welcome and part of our club, support them when they are having a go at the shootout and if you see any of them struggling with Treasure Hunt Clues then help them out.

Please refrain from using bad language and dodgy content in particular tomorrow and who knows we may end up with some more supporters in the future.

Thanks in advance to Chad Snr, Carter clan, Jan, D’emma, Neil, Rabbit and Rosie and the Hankey panky’s for their help and support.

We had one hundred and seventy (170!!!) juniors and their families down on Saturday, that shows massive commitment to the club, as these people also have their own games on Saturday/Sunday Morning to attend to.

It was great to see such enthusiasm and numbers in the family stand, and we will look to repeat the exercise in December, possibly with a festive theme.

Once again a massive thank you to all those who helped organise it in particular Neil, and people I omitted from my previous post Chad Snr, Ian Stanley, Dawn and John Evans.

Lets just hope that we can see an improvement in results to bring them back down again.

Well done to all, I know a lot of you worked very hard and from the kids (and parents) I spoke to they all had a good time despite the result. Lets hope all your hard work rubs off and a few come to other games too. Well done also to supporters from what I heard everyone tried to make everyone welcome.
