Tut Tut Graham 28,000 crowd, and the rest still hold the record for the highest attendance for a trophy final
i watched the cup final video back the other night, and Richard Keys mentions the crowd being just UNDER the attendance the year before when Wycombe were there. Martin O’Neil then agrees with him.
Previously i always thought it was the record, but maybe i was wrong??
The attendance was originally given out at around 27,000 but both teams complained that clearly that was incorrect after a review the official attendance was given out at over 32,000 to my knowledge a figure that has not yet been beaten.
