I have to say that this performance showed clearly that we do not need new players, just the players we have being fit. I sincerely believe that if we are lucky with injuries and suspensions from now until the end of the season we will win this league and if we are in the play offs who will want to play us? Well done Pritch you haver given us a side to be really proud of.

We played very well against a dissapointing Buxton side, we looked very up for it and fresh ! played with good pace and movement and Sheehan was star man imo he was everywhere, lovely goal by Titch who now Liam is back looks back to his best and we have got Gaghan, clampett and james to come back plus boothy who was on the bench last night, although i thought Glover had a great game alongside Ben also, all in all a good nights football.

Absolutley took them to pieces in the first half, Titch and Newman back together makes one hell of a difference up front, Hancock was fantastic first half and Sheenan outstanding all game, well done lads. Made me laugh that Buxton fans were more concerned about not being allowed to film the game than the way their team is playing! If that is what is on show every week then I’m guessing they must be trying to earn £200 on you’ve been framed. Really good line on Facebook - “Witton Albion have refused to let Buxton film tonights game” much derision from said Buxton fans followed by one Witton wag - “Witton Albion av refused Buxton the right to defend all evening!!!” Excellent reposte.
a very good performance, especilly in the first half. good to see newman back partnering titch. everybody played their partin putting 110% effort into the game, not to mention some vey good football. mom got to be sheehan, but just have to put a word in for schofield after some people have said he should be released, whenever he has played he has put everything into his game. i for one would like to see him at witton for a long time, he will be a class player in the near future, so come on tom juast do your stuff and ignore any petty comments. come on witton.
I dont think any one has said scofield should be released ? I believe and so do most that he has plenty of potential but that he is young and raw at this level to play every week in a critical centre mid, the likes of clampett and james are ahead of him just now but they are having injury availability issues, so my thoughts were to get someone in to support Sheehan in our title push, we definitely should keep Scofield and let him develop.
I don’t think that anybody actually said Schofield should be released…he is very highly rated by everybody i have spoken to.
