Witton v Cammell Laird

HT Witton 2 Lairds 0

Current score is 3-0 to the Albs. The game has been held up for about 30mins due to a bad head injury to one of the Laird players.

Many thanks for the update

Almost went with Junior Mooks but managed to convince him to stay home and watch United, which was awful. Not sure we’d have stayed though with what’s happened. Hope the lad’s ok.

FULL TIME

Witton Albion 3-0 Cammell Laird

Just finished. Good result.

Hope the Cammell lad gets well soon.

Yes Good result ! 2 goals for Ashley Stott - well done.

First time i have seen us since the Skem game. Very much improved. It looks as though Skem was just a bad day at the office…

Last night Stott chased everything down, even lost causes. When he does that, combined with his own ability, there wont be many better strikers at this level. It also means we get the best out of Kinsey too.

I thought Pritch had a good solid game, and it was good to see Ben get a goal.

I hope Stott and Frost make speedy recoveries from the injuries that forced them off last night, and the same to the Lairds player too.

Very good, competent performance last night, always looked in control. Plenty of effort, throughout the whole team. I’m glad to see we’ve kept a pretty settled side over the last few weeks, but it was also good that a few different players stepped in and made a good impression. Wouldn’t like to single anyone in particular out, it was a good display from the team and from each individual.

And, I was impressed with the officials too, did their job, and imposed their authority on the game without making an exhibition of themselves!

Hope none of the injuries (ours and theirs) are not too serious - any news on this?

good performance, could and should have had more. but let’s not knock it , the effort from every player was a joy to behold. every player can hold their head high, their commitment is refreshing and good to see. so come on all you reds get down to wincham park this saturday and cheer the lads on to another win.you will not be disappointed.
