The games this week against 2 very strong sides, are a credit to the players for the amount of work they put in. To have a look at some fringe players, Pritch and Brodes started last nights game with all the players who didn’t start Tuesday’s game. This resulted in us having a stronger side in the 2nd half, which was born out in the half-time and full-time scores (H/T 0-2, F/T 0-2).
However, playing 2 such strong sides in 2 days has had its toll on the team, and with some key players possibly not available (Stuart Rudd, Peter Heler, Paul Booth, and Dylan Adam), rumours last night started to spread that we maybe unable to field a side against Leigh Genesis tomorrow, and that it was in danger of being called off.
I am glad to inform you that, yes we are carrying some illness and injuries, but tomorrows’ game is DEFINITELY ON.
COME ON DOWN!!!
