It took us a while to get going at first but once the first goal went in there was always going to be more from this energetic side. A few brilliant goals today too. Well played lads. Very pleasing to see a strong attendance too, lots of youngsters about which was great to see, well done to everyone involved.

Up the Albs!

A joy to watch yet again. We start so well, and if we can start to convert our early chances then i can see us hitting double figures soon!

Great to see so many youngsters down, long may that continue.

Andrews’ second, and Buchan’s goal were particular highlights.

On another day Titch would have had a hat-trick.

Well played boys.

I might put the superalitives on a cut n paste as we are so consistent and play such tight, skilful and pacy football, pritch must be so proud of the job he and his team have produced with this side, enjoy this team and lets get more watching because they dont come around too often.

Brilliant  just brilliant

What a performance, pure magic!!! I can’t be bothered to watch the televised friendly. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Some top draw goals today. Agree with what Left Pegger says. Nearly 350 there today. V.good. Danny Andrewes got MoM which was deserved but I thought that Anthony Sheehan had a cracking game. Beats me how Colwyn Bay let him go? He found more space in the seconnd half than in an empty MFI warehouse! Eveyone did their bit today. Well done. Looks like the top 5 in the league are beginning to consolidate, they all keep winning. SBL

The same could be said about Titch?

I think sometime players just excel playing for certain teams in a particular system.

Or perhaps it’s just good coaching?

Total football or what!!!

I am usually our harshest critic but today WOW!

That was a fantastic display of football, great teamwork some wonderfully engineered goals and near misses.

Fantastic entertainment, 5 goals and 3 points- Keeps us in touch with the leaders. Stay grounded and lets see what we can achieve!

have to agree with all that’s been said, an excellent team performance, with a couple of spectacular goals. what a team pritch and mose have got together. more people should come and watch us, because this team is certainly going places. if we could just put more of the chances wecreate away, then sooner or later there will surely be a double figure score. this team just gets better and better. well don to all the team for once again giving us a game of which we are proud, and long may this continue. if we play like this at droylseden, the we are surely in with more than a chance of progressing even further in the fa trophy. come on lads youcan do it.

Great display yesterday.
Just thought I’d comment on the referee & assistant’s display. I thought the referee had a good unfussy game & allowed plenty of advantage for both teams.
On the penalty I think we were lucky that the referee chose to have his linesmen running ‘outside-lefts’ instead of the customary ‘outside rights’.
If the liner would have been o/s right he wouldn’t have been in the position to have awarded the penalty but, as it was, he was perfectly positioned to give the pen. Good teamwork by the men in black as well as the red/white.
Danny Andrews’ second goal was a peach.

Absolutely AWESOME. Quite simply the best display of football I’ve seen since the all conquering 1990 team. This team of lads and the management team behind them are ALL AWSOME and I include the lads who are back up on this because they are pushing, making it a competition for a place in the starting lineup.
The highlight for me on Saturday was the match but an even bigger thrill for me personally was the great man (Brian) and his lovely partner taking time out to talk to me for 5 minutes at around 630 pm just before they went home. Brian I really appreciate it and tharts why I’ve supported the club for 54 years. How many fans get to talk to the football manager in a friendly one to one. Not many and I know I’m not the only guy you speak to. Anyway Thank you so very much long may it continue and my respect and admiration for what you are doing knows no bounds. See you Tuesday night at the Silkworm Stadium!!

Could not agree more MONA, Brian Pritchard is one of nature’s true gentlemen.
WHS.

Pritch is one of lifes good guys! I spoke to him on his first trial at the Albs and wished him good luck, who would have thought he’d still be with us now, LEGEND!
