Nice idea Ste. If all goes well then the son and I will be there, it’s been a while since we’ve had a Wincham fix.

I work in Northwich, only 5mins from the ground and finish at 7:45 on Wed, so will pop over, albeit 5-10mins late.
from fc:
I’ve been meaning to pop along to Witton this season as I’ve got a couple of mates in their team and another on the coaching staff, so I might just take up this offer.
“can you really see many of them coming 20 miles (esp with todays fuel prices and wall-to-wall footie on the box) to see a team they dont support in a division below”
They must have missed the bits where people say “I work in Northwich” or are just generally happy with the offer!
Well we got plenty of Chester fans down when they first folded. There are plenty of FCUM fans who are from Northwich who might fancy watching their local club for a change. We already know we are the second team of an Alty fan. The Runcorn fans will feel like the H4H is their second home.
No reason why we can’t expect this to be a success.
Nothing ventured nothing gained folks, in this day and age we have to think outside the box - it certainly doesnt do us any harm with fellow local clubs.
[quote]Can I just reiterate what Wittonian has said.
I have been there twice this season, everyone so friendly, the bar is good and reasonable prices for drink and food.
The ground is very good and they play some great football.
