Here’s hoping for a big turnout for Monday night.
Big day for the up’s and down’s in the league
In the race for the play offs Woodley must beat Garforth to keep hope any dreams of finishing 5th. Skem must also win at home to Prescot.
Meanwhile 3 points for the Albion would guarantee at least a 3rd place finish. .
At the bottom, if Cammell Laird fail to beat Mossley and Harrogate bring all the points back from Durham, it would see Laird relegated prior to our visit there on Friday night.
Wakefield are still fighting for their lives but will find it tough away to Farsley. Clitheroe are also looking down the table with the toughest of run ins facing Lancaster, Woodley and Fylde you’d have to say there will be no points to gain there. Wakefield however have it better with a game in hand and facing Harrogate (a massive 6 pointer), Prescot and Cammell Laird in their last games.
With the 7.45 kick off the picture will be clearer before the game on Monday.
This weeks Albion Review was printed prior to the fantastic win at Lancaster due to the bank holidays so the stats are slightly out. The front cover has a picture of one of the favourites for goal of the season (before Titch’s effort on Saturday!!). We have the usual musings of Pritch, a special article from Robbo and the regular contributions from around the grounds. With a potential of a big gate on Monday make sure you get your copy when you come in as once they are gone, they are gone.
