Witton vs Marine

Having spoke to Pete earlier today just to clear a couple of points up - Thursday has been selected as Marine have a county cup match next week, which takes priority so next week is a no go. The following week we have Altrincham in a county cup match which takes priority again. That pushes us to the last week in January.
From a club perspective we ill afford to loose any more home games, by that I mean postponments. However as stated the weather aint looking good and I’m more concered about Saturday being on - that is our chance to potentially turn the season?

IF the game vs MARINE is on Thursday has anyone got any suggestions for the PREDICTIONS. There are no other fixtures on that night to my knowledge but there may be another sport maybe ? Perhaps we could do GUESS THE CROWD ?

How about predictions for the final league table?

With the amount of points 1st and last place finish on as the tie-break decider?

According to the BBC website V*cs are away at Woking on Thursday night, and Saudi Arabia host Yemen.

Maybe the BDO World Darts Championship, if there are any matches on.

According to Pritch (who’s at the ground now doing some odd jobs etc - he must be mad!), there is still a layer of snow on the pitch, with more falling as he speaks. The pitch underneath is rock hard, the weather is currently overcast, and the temp is 1 degree.

He doesn’t expect it to be playable tomorrow.

Please note the date of the Marine game if in fact it is called off tomorrow.

Just checked with Pete Riley, who is down the ground, and the pitch is playable, and there are no current intentions to arrange any pitch inspections.

Should be a tough game tonight. We will be without Neil Black, as he is cup-tied.
