Just to confirm for those out there who didnt know:

Usual £5, and £3 prices apply.
Dont forget your buy 3 get 1 free cards if you have them

Away in the Peak District that day so will not be there sadly as I think we are getting to the real “Nitty Gritty” now. Loking forward to the midweek game the following week when hopefully I will be there. Good luck to all who play and all whp are present. To the Supporters Team, should I buy a cup for the Runcorn game or shall I donate the money to the club on your behalf? (£20)
WHS

Neil, I used my ticket for the Colwyn Bay game which was my free entry. The guy at the turnstiles kept the ticket when I handed it to him. I assume now that I need to pay at the next three games in order to get the fourth one free, or was the idea just a one-off? Not that I’m particularly bothered about free entry although it is a nice gesture by the club.

U can’t get decent gatemen anymore !

looking forward to this one, hopefully team is settling down a bit now and start to see some shape from the new team, would like to see frost and kinsey upfront for an hour or so but have to say smith looks ok as well so maybe we are going to have some challenge for the front spots which is good, macca looks a class apart in midfield not sure who his partner will be though - foy, parkinson, broadhead ? good to have choices, cu all there ? might take a flask after experiencing the coffee at the new tea bar ! I think the recipe came from Baldrick ? compared to last year its terrible, more expensive, smaller cup, terrible coffee 2 of us threw it away it was that bad, and if its not going direct to the club I wont be bothering.

C.J why don’t you offer to run the Tea bar with one of your mates? You can still watch the match and make money for the club.

WHS, I did that for years at the central ground, supporters club shop, coaches, gates I have done a few jobs in my time but they all interfere with watching the match with my mates which is what I really enjoy, I did think about it but decided not too, I assume we have a decent cut from the tea hut operation think its the club stewqard who runs it now but is it too much to ask that for 90p they use coffee in the coffee.

Eli, i have to say the standard of gatemen is not what it was. of course i am referring to about 4 or 5 seasons ago. It has never been the same since. Nice to see those clowns from last season aren’t around at the minute though.

I have heard a few people complain about the tea hut, the board will need to keep an eye on this as it is representative of Witton Albion. Away fans, and potential new Witton fans, will take the the hut experiece away with them (as they will with their experiences of the social club). It’s important that we ensure people are getting value for money, whether these facilities are out-sourced or not - it is still Witton Albion to anybody who uses them.

Broadhead has been released.

How sad it is we cannot find people to volunteer to do the Tea Bar.If I was avaiable every Saturday I would give it a go but I am not. I will run the gate whenever I am at a game, which will be most games after September when the Cricket season ends. Come on, is no one available to give all the other volunteers a hand?

The buy 3 get 1 free is applicable as long as you have a card with 3 stamps on it. Should you attend the next 4 games in effect you will get the final one free again. Just be sure to ask for you card on arrival on Tuesday.

There will be a programme on Tuesday too.

Gate staff doin a fine job - worth every penny!
