This coming Sat night is a real treat for everyone, we had a sound check last night and the quality of the acts blew me away!
Kurt Davies is an amazing singer and he’s sure to wow the audiance with his two 45 minute slots.
Nigel Deeley was amazing on the guitar and has a great singing voice too and inbetween the acts and closing the show is myself on the decks!
Trev is the host with the most and at just £5 and a late bar til 1am its a night not to be missed!!
Looking forward to it, should be a good night. Seen Kurt Davies on you tube, he has a fantastic voice!
A lot of effort goes into organising these nights so please come along and support your club.
Things like this will hopefully bring fans back together, a lot has happened in the past few months and there is a grey cloud over our club! now is the chance to put the past behind us and start pulling together for the good of Witton Albion.
Tuck has gone rightly or wrongly and i like others have made my feelings known on here and other social media, sometimes i went ott with my beliefs and caused fellow fans to fall out with me, im not the only one either but thats done and dusted now, what matters now is we get over it and move on and thats where events like this one will help, i cant begin to tell you what a fantastic night its going to be and believe me if you dont come you will regret it!
See u all Sat UTA
I’d just like to say a massive thank you to all those who attended and supported us on what was a great night and a good laugh . I’d also point out the attendance was , let’s say. “Poor” and if not for a few regulars , the attendance would have been laughable .
When are you Wittoners going to get off your backsides and support one or two of these functions , help get these events advertised. Put posters, leaflets in your local shops , !! How the hell are we supposed to pay the players we’ve got ??? Never mind to add to the player transfer fund to add to the squad which is needed to keep healthy competition for places .
Everyone seems to have an excuse for not attending events ,which is fine if you just come to watch the team and go home , but when they moan moan moan and type opinionated criticism on here or social media but don’t buy a ticket for events , maybe a couple of drinks over the bar . It’s not on , All this helps to fund a squad . Without it we are x&@ked ! , no squad , no team , no club , so it’s up to you .
Now wheels are in motion that in the near future more music related events will be happening in the club . So please the next time you think of spending you money over a bar in Northwich. Have a look at what’s going to be put on at Witton . You never know you may actually enjoy it . And if you have any ideas of what you would
Iike on at the club see Sharon , Jim or any other club official and I’m sure they would point you in the right direction. . But seriously , we can’t just leave it to the same people turning up over and over . Sort yourselves out and lend a hand to advertise and promote around the town .
A brilliant event supported by so few, same faces again supporting the fundraising events every time but what a fantastic night it was, Nige & Kurt were brilliant as expected and Freddie Mercury was really good as was Elton John on piano, big cheer for the audiance who sang and danced the night away too
Oh and the dj was ok
Thanks Matt, An amazing effort by all concerned, bowdown Like you say Fantastic Night supported by so few,but thats “Wittoners” unfortunately and we have to accept that, otherwise the likes of us would give up our fund raising efforts altogether, and that would result in no club for any of us to support, so i suppose on a selfish note, i’m doing it for me!? and the reason being because i want MY Club to continue for as long as possible at the highest level achievable, trying to persuade supporters to attend any events at Witton certainly i’snt easy but the alternative is unthinkable! and on the bright side with so few there we got served at the Bar quicker!
Lets try and make The “Bavarian Night” one to remember, weve not had one of these at Wincham Park for 20 years?(The last one i think was “De Bier Barons”?) and it was a good night from what i remember, but i was very young at the time?! B)
