Make no mistake, JV was a great coach and a very good football manager, with good contacts, but he was very demanding on a financial and emotive basis and ultimately screwed YOUR football club over.

A very strange one indeed… and you do have to wonder who would employ him now. After his initial success with us, his stock was very high and he was of course linked with the Alty job at one point.
He didn’t meet with expectations at Halifax, and now he has walked out on Woodley 5 minutes after being appointed.
I just don’t understand this one at all!
