Workington AFC vs Witton Albion (FAT. 1Q).

Witton begin their Buildbase FA Challenge Trophy campaign on Saturday when they make the long trip north to Workington. The two clubs have faced each other on a regular basis in the competition in recent years with the Cumbrians prevailing the last time, following a six-goal thriller at Witton which led to a replay. Both teams go into the game in decent form, Witton having won four of the last five games in all competitions whilst Workington have suffered defeat only once in their last seven league games. The game represents the third meeting between the two clubs this season and Witton have had the better of the two previous encounters, taking four points off their opponents. Saturday’s game is entirely different with progression in the non league premier competition at stake and financial incentives to go as far as possible. Workington provide Witton with a difficult test and they will have to be at their best to have a chance of coming through it. Kick off at Borough Park is 3pm.

Would be a great one to win but a good side Workington and strong at home, Id go 5-3-2

Hare
Gards, Wilson, Brown, Ryan, Mckenna
Prince, Owens, Foley
Tames, Hopley

But suspect we might go 4-4-2 With Wilson missing out and Jones in.
