National League North club Workington AFC will play their final game at their Borough Park ground on Saturday.

They will move to a new 3,700 seater stadium at Cumberland Sports Village for the 2026/27 season after 89 years at Borough Park.

Plans are to increase the capacity to 5,000 in the future.

Always enjoyed going there. A proper old football ground. But probably too big and unwieldy to maintain once they dropped out of the football league. Can understand them wanting somewhere more modern.
