Worksop - Families for a Fiver

Families for a Fiver is back for Worksop on Saturday 22nd, and there will be Mulled wine and mince pies available on the day.

Get in the Christmas spirit guinness

Just to qualify,

“Families for a Fiver” day. That’s up to two adults and as many under 15s as you like for just £5!

We will also be serving mulled wine and warm mince pies on the day to get everybody in the Christmas.

I have had somebody from Worksop enquire today saying there is 6 adults in his family, so could the family get in for just £5?

Missing word spirit? If its 2 adults and unlimited kids I’d say no, but that’s because it’s a bah humbug moment for me

As previous, it’s a maximum of 2 adults.

Thatched in THE CHRISTMAS what?. I like whisky ?

I always try and clarify it but I can’t write “Mum, Dad and the kids” nowadays, because we don’t want to rule out Dad, Dad and the kids ( ) or Mum, Mum and the kids ( )

Hopefully Worksop bring a few families

Surely one is not allowed to say “Mum” or “Dad” these days, and one must say “Primary carer”? And rather than “Family” one ought to say “People unit”…just to avoid offending any minority people units of course.

Time, mistletoe and wine?

I agree with the idea of trying to attract new support but just to clarify, if you come on your own its £9 but if you drag an adult and a kid off the street its a fiver? SBL

Why not they might enjoy it and come back next time!

What if you have more than one wife, do you have to choose your favourite?

You only need to grab a kid - it’s families and single parent families count too.

I presume you’d have a ‘least annoying’ rather than a favourite, but yeah :stuck_out_tongue:

Grabing a kid is not a wize idea. Imagine the defence at Crown Court. “Well your honour I only wanted to take him to watch Witton”. On another note I see that the tribunal upheld the leagues decision to get Vics to play at Stafford so that’s that. + those annoying brown signs have gone. SBL :clap

Yeah they will probably be on ebay next week with about 60 people bidding for them

Pretty big game this weekend, Worksop are the league’s form side have won 4 and drawn 2 of their last six. Big performance required from the lads.

Hopefully a gate over 450, but you never know this time of year with those under the thumb being dragged out Christmas shopping! nono

The Mulled Wine has arrived.

Book your taxis or sort your lifts. :clap

Peter Robinson worked for over 3 hours in the rain this morning to clear the pitch of standing water abley assisted by Tim Atherton and a brief cameo part from me. The pitch is extremely heavy in a few parts of the pitch, the remainder due to remedial work during the summer by volunteers is fine, a testimony to the volunteers who helped in the summer months. (TW I know your watching :clap ).
The forcast for Friday is OK but heavy rain is expected Saturday. Please if you are required can you assist Saturday morning ?
