As you will see in the News release by Graham Shuttleworth we have a very tight deadline to meet the grants conditions for getting the money for the floodlights, as such I am running a world cup sweep.

The draw will be made as soon as all the 32 spaces are filled.

I’ll pay you at poker on Thursday. With the meeting being on, and Ladies Darts in the Tom Stelfox, I assume we will be in the boardroom? Are there any special arrangements for access to the main room for drinks during the meeting?

Wittonrobbo, its just like the national sweep, for every £10 go you are allocated a team at random and if your team finishes 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th you win a prize.

Re Thurs night TT it is an open meeting so there will be no problems with people coming and going as they please for drinks etc.

Great response last night for the world cup sweep, we have just a few left so please reply if you wish to have a go then we can make the draw - hopefully next Thursday night at the ground.

Knowing my luck i’ll pull Algeria out of the hat, even Ireland managed to beat them 3-0!

There are still a couple of places left for the draw (even with your extra one WHS) hence the draw hasn’t yet been made BUT whatever happens the draw will be made tonight at the club - so anyone want to grab the last ones please let me know by 7.30pm at the latest. I will check the forum before the draw.

Note to WHS and The Doc - you haven’t let me know the total amount of goals you think will be scored - one guess for each go.
