But Liverpool want to, negotiating their own TV rights at the expense of smaller clubs in the league like Bolton and Everton ! If they think they are so big they should get out there and generate revenue the way United do !
Whats up Eli scared of Utd not being the biggest fish in the pond ? times they are a changing !
GREED that is ALL Premier League football is about. They don’t even care about winning trophies, just qualifying for the Champions League is ALL that matters. Stick to local stuff where football is played for pride and glory.

Does that include your beloved V*cs WHS ?
It’s so annoying. I suspect the denials by United and Chelsea were because they knew what the public and media reaction would be. Ian Ayre, despite having a shocking lack of judgement, is just one of many suits at that level who would love to go down that route.
And why do Liverpool need more money? They’d only go and spend it on rubbish Englishmen!
Sorry everyone, but I just hate Vics and cannot wait to see them go down and out. They have cheated for years which has kept our club out of the limelight in this town, the soooner they go bust the better.
WHS.
I don’t wish any ill will on Vics. They’ve been cheated BY dodgy owners, like many clubs at all levels. I hope they stay in business but a relegation or two would be fine!
On a more serious note - Justice will now be done - most importantly for the victims and families of the Hillsborough disaster but also for all football fans of the 1980’s. There were some heart rendering speeches in the HOC last night( sadly mainly from the opposition side ) perhaps not heard since the 2nd World War. Football fans in the 80’s were treated like cattle by the police(aka Maggies Army - she protected them for smashing the miners for her ?) and most of the grounds were a disgace to their owners. Yes it was the culture of the day and there were thugs pushing and shoving to get in without tickets at all games. It could have been any team that day that suffered. We were misled at the time by the government of the day and the media as to the reasons and it is true there was not much sympathy from some Utd fans in light of the response to the Munich disaster but hopefully justice will prevail.
Well said Eli.
Bravo.It’s been a long wait.
