Albion 4 Harrogate 0

My first real look at the side for a while, mightily impressed, Pritch anmd his crew have done a fantastic job.
WHS.

Biggest league victory I have seen was the 11-0 against Radcliffe Borough at the Central Ground. This could have eclipsed that by a distance! Don’t think I have ever seen so many chances in the first 45 minutes of a game. At 3-0, we clearly coasted through the second half. Would think the Harrogate management and squad will be mightily relieved they only conceded four goals, it could easily have been a very embarrassing scoreline for them.

Excellent first 45mins quick slick passing, game over at HT. My MOM agreed with the sponsors also a mention for Mat Woolley another excellent game.

super performance. quite agree with Sheehan being MOM - great display and fantastic pass for 1st goal.

Hope we perform next week in front of a bumper crowd and let the stay aways see what they have been missing

Have to say what a great performance again. We really seem to have found another gear of late.

I can understand the frustration of the management on days like today that the crowd hasn’t turned up. I’m not expecting the “stay-aways” to suddenly reappear, but it does surprise me that gates are down from earlier in the season - especially with no top flight football this weekend. We have just won 7 games on the bounce, scoring plenty of goals. Surely people aren’t out christmas shopping this early?!

Let’s hope for a good crowd and a good performance on saturday.

Titch was fantastic again, as was Andrews.

Can’t argue with MoM either though.

Well played all.

1st half today we were absolutely class, best Witton team in a long time, great passing one touch football.
Agree Sheehan deserved mom, he played very very well bossing the midfield. Also as said above Danny Andrews is really impressing. Josh hancocks goal was quality.
Well done boys let’s have more of the same next sat

what a superb display of football, especially in the first half, we could, and maybe should have declared at half time with a cricket score. if we could just put away 50% of our chances we would surely be champions by christmas. an excellent team performance, and a very good debut for josh glover . my mom has got to be witton albion, because every player gave their all, and i am once again proud to be awittn fan. these players should be proud of their perfomance, and let’s hope we can keep hold of them as we progress. come on you reds.

great performance again is that 7 wins on the run ? and up to third in the league ! as to the gates bad weather and v**s at home will not help pull in neutrals, if we keep going in this form then the gate will improve, the trouble is once people stop going to football then they get into other routines so they have to be persauded so get into the ribs of anyone you know who has not been recently and try and get them down next saturday, cue a good performance - a win and hopefully we keep many of them watching.

Graham Shuttleworth thought you may like to read this posting from a Harrogate Railway supporter and taken from the Non League Zone forum:

Witton 4 Railway 0 The best team we have played this season, could of been double figures if it was not for our Keeper. The best playing surface in the league as well as the best ground. Hospitality was excellent and nice people. A credit to our league. Cheers

Well done everybody, especially the ground staff

Tend to agree.

The only issue is how we have dropped about 100 fans since August when we are currently doing so well!!
