I’m sorry but this isn’t healthy debate, certain comments have been placed to intentionally provoke a response. I accept everyone has an opinion but sometimes certain things are better off being left alone and stop this forum turning into a certain other forum i can mention.
We have one of the best young centre halfs in non league football in benny and what we need to progress is a centre half in the mick kilduff mold who’s sole job is to attack the ball and let Ben play the football. At the moment we look extremely vulnerable on corners and set pieces which must be painful for pritch to watch. Andy chad summed it up perfectly, third place in the league at this stage in the season is more than anyone could have hoped for and the quality of the football we have played at times has been a joy to watch.
We are proudly living the dream being in third at this stage of the season (on a sustainable basis of course!!). Brilliantly well done to the management team, players and all involved in our proud club! I can’t make out anything extremely devisive to be honest just football fans commenting on football as they are want to do…COME ON THE ALBIOOOON!
P.S Coops is a great keeper, wouldn’t swap him!
Agreed 100%.
Surely after an opinion has been aired once, the next 347 times are just unnecessary repetition?
That is purely my opinion though, and i hope that this post is acceptable to the mods and doesn’t get deleted.

…and WHS’s continued mention of his dislike of Fozzie now seems to take every thread off topic. Speaking to wittoners yesterday it is really starting to rub some people up the wrong way. Can WHS not start up his own Fozzie dislike thread and post things to himself? No one else is interested, his views on the matter have been aired enough.
Just because I don’t always agree with pritches tactics or selections does not mean I’m critiquing him, he is a witton legend and is now the manger and I am so pleased he is, I used to have long discussions with Brian booth and terry murphy about teams selections and how we played many a disagreement but what a manager he was ! as fans we all play atbmanager but pritch is the real manager now and he calls the shots all we should do is support and from time to time discuss football matters I think whs was being a bit provocative to be honest but that’s ok just an opinion like mine like robbo et al but I don’t think you will find one wittoner not behind pritch and his team UTA

 Don’t all players count as the team? I’m behind the team 100%, not ten of them…
Back on topic I thought it was an excellent game yesterday and a draw was a fair result for me, neither side could have been too disappointed had we/they lost it. Come the end of the season I think we will look back and think it was a good hard earned point gained rather than two lost. They had won their last six so there confidence was sky high and I don’t blame the tactics being slightly more defensive than usual.
As for Coops he is an excellent keeper. If we were to sell him I will stop coming
We didn’t have this much debate when the snake left us and twisted the knife in deeply to the heart of this club! Not happy that we are being seen as bad as the strangled turkeys mark 1 or the new independent peoples front of 1874 nothing to do with mark 1 fc. Decisions are made formations are tried, fans grumble only in defeat or draws and players only grumble in defeat and draws! In the kingdom of the blind the one eyed man is king… So I am king and it was 451. We could speculate why we played that way as no one appears to have touched on that reason! Anyway 41 points should be ok to stay up- the only public objective that’s been set- all dreams and false promises please visit the bears
Oh and full credit to ilson and their fans for making it such an absorbing game and for generating an atmosphere
Thought it was part necessity and part because Ilkeston are in good form.
Heard Tuck had a knock and Meechan is new. Shaw has goals in so think it was a bit of all that, and in fairness, even with one up top we still scored twice.
Onwards and upwards!
i notice that all the arguements only happeen when whs posts on here with his drivel. for your information whs fozzie has been a great signing by a great manager in pritch, so get off that soap box and support mr. witton albion in what he is doing. promotion in his first season as manager and tird in the league at the moment surely suggests that he is doing his job. fozzie has made one hell of a difference, and could make it possible that we stay in aplay off place, so let pritch get on with his job and stop whinging. pritch and witton albion foever.
I am gone forever. I don’t want to cause any problems for the club, it is now all yours.
WHS.
WHS.

Congratulations to the trolls - you have achieved your mission.
At a time when we as a club are trying our utmost to promote the club within the community at large, certain individuals have succeeded in alienating a long standing supporter. I do hope you are pleased with yourselves!
Who is next on the hit list…?
Well can everybody be wrong in their reactions? Ask yourself that!
I think the use of the word Trolls is ridiculous!
All anyone has said on this forum is what an asset Steve Foster has been this season, we all know how WHS feels about the bloke and its sad that he feels that he no longer wants to be part of the forum but internet trolls bully, intimidate, threaten etc all behind a faceless profile…hardly the same thing!!
I’m sorry, but he alienated himself when he stopped coming (not for the first time) for something as outrageous as signing the league player of the year.
He has history of ‘throwing his toys out’ and for an intelligent man, which i’m sure he is, it’s a bit pathetic.
Playing devil’s advocate here but after WHS initially mentioned it, most of his subsequent comments have been in response to somebody else bringing it up.
Hopefully WHS comes back soon enough, but let’s all get on with supporting the team, starting tomorrow night in the Doodson Megabucks Cup, and then on Thursday when the ressies are at home! :goal
Again id have to disagree. People are without question entitled to their opinion, but at the end of the day if its to do with the team then its up to pritch. If you ask all wittners if over the years there has been a decision that a manager has made that they dont agree with then 99% will say yes and the other 1% would be lying.
A comment has been made about whos next on the hitlist, that to me is just ridiculas, this is one of the friendliest clubs around and all the years i have been watching witton ive very rarely seen any problems amongst ourselves and if I for one moment suspected there was then id fully support any action to stop it.
It is sad that it has come to this but the past is what it is " THE PAST" and things that have happened should be left there. This sitaution could and should have been avoided if many personal opionions woulnt have been posted. I do hope we dont lose any fans over this because the club is bigger than any individual
bangwall Goodbye
Eddie your comment is at best ridiculous, and at worst downright irresponsible.
Not one single person has told WHS to a) stop coming to Witton, or b) stop posting on here.
He has simply been asked to reign in his constant negative comments concerning Steve Foster. Not only on here, but also on other websites, where he has been bringing the good name of Witton Albion into disrepute.
If his reaction to that is to walk away, then quite frankly his heart cannot be in Witton Albion to start with.
To cut ties with your football club on the grounds of a difference of opinion is childish in the extreme, and isn’t an action which should be defended by anyone.
