Next round of FA cup
Totties away - tough draw but an interesting day!
2nd Qual Round FA Cup - Sat 1st October
Alty v Witton
E-mail sent to the fa re covering the game on FATV, they’re looking for suggestions…
that is an intersting but very tough draw - not really a just reward for beating Marine.
With the team that we have assembled CJ I don’t think that Altrincham will hold any fears for the players whatsoever. No reason why we carn’t go there and get a comfortable win. I will be disappointed if we don’t.SBL
Hope you are right SBL !!! would have been happier if it were at home
Admission Prices at Moss Lane:
Standing: Adults £13, Concessions £8.
Seating: Adults £15, Concessions £9.
With it being an FA Cup Fixture, I would imagine that their normal prices apply so it is highly unlikely to be reduced.
Winnable if we play as well as we did against Marine, but by eck it’s a blummin tough draw at this stage of the competition!!
“Witton” and “Lucky” rarely go together, that happens with “Vics”!!!

Yes, who cares about this big F.A.Cup match with Altrincham? Let’s talk about Vics.
Who was talking about Vics? I was merely saying that we don’t have a lot of luck unlike our neighbours. You lot are really “picky” at times, get a grip!

“Who was talking about Vics? I was merely saying that we don’t have a lot of luck unlike our neighbours.”
I give up.
No use quoting me, you still don’t get it, I was simply bemoaning our luck, I could have said we weren’t as lucky as Man United but “Vics” is shorter!!!

From the Alty forum:
THis may have slipped through in the middle of the news section last night (I missed it first time) but its worth noting.
Hoping it won’t start a huge “its still too dear” debate as we all know admission is expensive but its a decent gesture I think.
FA CUP PRICES
Admission prices for Altrincham v Witton Albion in the FA Cup on 1 October will be reduced from the normal BSB North admission charges. Prices will be £12 for adults in all parts of the ground, £8 applies for concessionaries, £5 for 12-16 year-olds and £2 for under-12s.
Now that is good news. (Notice I have not mentioned …!!!)
WHS.
£12, still too much for this level, im on hols unfortunately but id go if i was here but giving them 12 quid would hurt ! much rather donate it to Witton. Good luck to the lads hope I can watch the next game at home in the FA cup when im back of my hols.
WE do get half your entrance fee C.J.
WHS.
Only A third and after expenses ? The FA have a cut as well
Not in the early rounds CJ and it goes up from 10 per cent in the 4th qual if I remember correctly
