By all accounts it was a close run thingbut, we are in the next round.

Well done everyone!

£3,000 in the bag!!! It takes 30 matches to collect that much on the half time draw or 300 through the turnstiles for a home game, it is a BIG win. Well done Mr. Deeley and his team.
WHS.

A realy hard fought game, particularly after they pulled one back. I think they will be gutted that they didn’t get anything out of it, especially their No 3, who I think was outstanding and if he puts consistent performances in like that, he may replace LB in the England team (if he hasn’t already been replaced).

For us, my man of the match was Lee Thompson, shaving it from Greg Smith, Gary Burke, and Dan Schwartz.

Yep, a very stressful game to watch especially last 20 minutes or so.Shades of Alamo but hey, we won and we are in second round.
A home tie will do nicely.

We won and thats all that matters in the FA Cup - £3000 in the bank.
Bamber lifted their game for this one and will be disappointed not to have got at least a draw. The return of Rod Thornley made a big difference up front with his tireless running and his ability to hold the ball up. Lee Thompson made it 3 in 3 with another ( pity he misses the Marine game next week ) good finish. As against Buxton we faded in the 2nd half but credit to Bamber they attacked with 2 good wingers and as TT says the little left back looked very impressive.

MoM - Got to be Greg Smith - another defence confidence boosting performance - no wonder clubs are looking at him.
