CHRISTMAS CHARITY GAME - WITTON FANS v V*CS FANS

Then you speak to me face to face about it, you don’t spout rubbish on Vics’ forum. Nige Deeley is Witton through and through, and his offical involvement with the Club dates back to him making his debut as a 16 year old.

His involvement in last year’s game was that he took us for a training session, he recorded a team talk onto tape for us and allowed us access to the players for them to do the same, he met us on our pre-match night out and issued the lads with Witton ties, he provided us with a match ball (which got lost…), and he also attended the game. He woule have played but for family committments.

NEVER did i promise you a place in the squad. I gave you the opportunity to come down and stake a claim for a place, but that is all. When you have the opportunity to include somebody like Nige, then you do so. He certainly wasn’t taking your place int he squad - if anything he was taking mine (similar standard of player and all that…!!!).

Well ive apologised so forget it yeah. Reason i posted there was cos thats where u stated nige didnt replace a fan im a fan. Played the last 2 games now i wasnt i had clearly been replaced by some1. I shouldnt have said what i said but you know i made an effort and have every right to be upset not 2 be involved. By the time i saw u i was past caring about it. If i wasnt i would have told u so last night. And i never said u promised me but i was involved in previous games therefore didnt expect to be dropped.

I repeat, NIGE DID NOT TAKE YOUR PLACE. Incase you are forgetting, Nigel played in the Runcorn game so he wasn’t displacing you from the squad v Vics.

And I believe the reason why nige couldn’t play in the game against the U17’s is because he was at training…

It was actually because the changing rooms at Moss Farm are too small and there just wouldn’t be enough room for ‘him’

Sorry, but i thought Nige was a Witton fan.

A fact he stated on many occassions.

As far as I know Nige IS a Witton fan.:cheer:

This game has provisionally been re-arranged fo the 17th May, to be held at the VS…

look forward to the game.

and well done to the rent boys, for arranging the game at the stadium of sh?te.

will there be segregation.?:stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, should chopper be available he will be segregated from the rest of the squad

This is now looking like being the 3rd of May… but watch this space.

Gary Finley has provisionally agreed to take us for a training session before the big game.

Training to start on Tuesday night at 7pm on the pitches behind Witton.

TRAINING TONIGHT, 7PM @ WITTON

Latest news for this game is that it will held as planned on SUNDAY 3RD MAY at the Victoria Stadium.

Kick off is to be at 1pm.

Prior to the game there will be a match between the junior sides of Witton and V*cs, so even more reason to come down and support the day.

Final training session will be at Witton on Friday at 7pm. Gary Finley will be taking us through our paces so please try and attend.

If any other supporters want to join us for the training session then please do so. The more the merrier.

If GF is taking the training then there will be a few going down.( With exhaustion ? )

R u using the original programme ?

Is anyone from V*cs assisting with entrance arrangements ?

Is the lady from St Lukes collecting donations ?

We will be using the original programs yes, with updated manager notes and team sheets to be inserted on the day (there’s a nice little job for you Eli).

I have asked the Vics boys what else they need us to do, and they’ve asked if we can sort linesmen (which i’m hoping to confirm with GE if we have managed to do this or not).

Other than that, we just need to turn up i think.

What about draw tickets and golden goal ?

Will get back to you.
