Couldn’t make it tonight. Great news. Big 3 points! SBL

Great win especially as Curzon lost

GET IN! Great win and you could see how much it meant to the lads in their celebrations when the goal went in.
Never stopped battling and got the reward in the end. Well done lads.

ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!!!
WHS.

well done to pritch, mose and the boys, 3 points that cheered me up no end and made my night. come on witton.

Well deserved last night. Games like that are alll about battling to a result, and we did that.

We created more than we have in the last few games, and i always felt that the goal would come.

A great win indeed especially since we capitalised on Curzon’s failure.
The lads battled away on another bobbly pitch.
We could have had 3 pens in the first half and certainly should have had the one where Ashley was brought down.
Clitheroe’s defending was untidy but effective.
Our substitutions worked well and show the benefit of a strong bench.
I’d like to see our wingers switch wings now and then.
Titch’s deft touch to lift the ball over the keeper from close range was sublime and the resultant celebration spoke volumes.
Another excellent turnout of Wittoners on a very cold and then wet night.
See you at Bamber Bridge.

Great performance and a deserved 3 points, the score line flattered clitheroe. Great celebration for the goal reminisant of bucans winner at alty. Showed what it meant to the lads who have kept going right till the end of the last few games and picked us up some valuable points. Also thought matt wooley had a great game as well as the usual suspects.

Brilliant result and sounds like it was well deserved, still a glimmer of hope but I think it will be the playoffs for us, but as long as we keep winning you never know.

Agreed,

Also agree that Matt Woolley was outstanding last night. Aggressive, direct, committed. In the second half i almost forgot that Gards wsn’t playing! B)

I agree with Matt Woolley being singled out for praise especially since in the 2nd half he was playing at altitude.

When your Gardner’s body’s broken
And you need a right full back
When you’re playing up hill
And you need some support in attack

When your questions go unanswered
And the silence is killing you
Take his hand baby, he’s your man
Matty Woolley will have to do

Matt Woolley love song
He’s bombing down the right
He can take you higher
In Witton red and white
Matty Woolley on the right
In the red and white!
