D.DAY

Well, its D.day today for our man in Wembley! Interesting! SBL

There’s only one subject that should occupy this forum board today is OUR D-DAY.

Lets ignore that sideshow/freak show and have all our focus and attention on supporting the Albs tonight. Thats vocally - not via a keyboard!

Well I am interested (thanks for the reminder SBL) and I can think about more than one topic on any given day.

A little light relief

Enjoy

Well I’ll be there this evening cheering on the mighty Albs (with me proud new 125 years scarf)…but am also most fascinated about the goings on ovver theeeer! Press embargo on the FA’s ruling till 16.00.

At the FA hearings held at Wembley today the decision of the panel was as follows:

In respect of Northwich Victoria FC, the panel ruled that the Club would not be allowed to participate in the promotion play-offs, however the Club would not be expelled from the Northern Premier League but relegated one step from the 2012/2013 Season.

In respect of the appeal by Woodley Sports FC, the panel upheld the decision of the Northern Premier League and the Club will be relegated to a step to be determined by the Football Association.

No further comment will be made by the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League at this time

Time for us to move on up!

Wot no Boxing Day derby Mookie?

Well it’s the one silver lining if the play offs go tits up! :woohoo:

??? North or South - will it depend on their groundshare at Stafford cos I’m sure that wont go down well with other clubs in Division One North

Confirmed by League
FC United of Manchester will take Northwich Victoria’s place in the play-offs, and will play Chorley on Saturday 28th April.

with the arabs ground sharing at stafford, i suggest that they go into the
southern division of the npl. less travel for other clubs.

I might be wrong but didnt the Skem share fall through because it wasnt up to standard for Conference North? Obviously it’s ok for our division so perhaps they can fall back on that now? It’ll knock 5 minutes off the round trip at least :silly:

I don’t want our brilliant club anywhere near theirs. It makes me want to go up x10!!

Plus, I wouldn’t want to give the Lizards fans the satisfaction of watching a game in this town…

In their inimitable style they will probably now renege on their agreement with Stafford and demand Skem take them in.

i would like to now WHY the fa overturned the npl decision
to sling the arabs out of the npls league?. and just relegate them one
devision.

They did the same when the Conference tried to kick them out a couple of years ago. The FA said they could only be relegated to Conference North, not out of the Conference completely.

A cowardly decision by the F.A., they have been handed the opportunity to show that they mean to eradicate the vermin that infest some football clubs and utterly blown it. Yet paradoxically I believe that this seeming stay of execution will actually lead to a worse outcome for the various possible ‘Northwich Victoria’ incarnations.

agreed, weak decision and seemingly a green light for them to keep playing by their own rules while everyone else has to abide by the real rules.
