Well we all have our views on the pitch but off the pitch is just as important and directly influences resources we can put on the pitch.
If you want to get the full picture about the club please turn up on Thursday evening.
Bang on Yazzy - Its a forum in the real world, face to face as opposed to in the magical world of cyberland where everyones a keyboard punching expert!
Im rehearsing 4 a play im working on or else would have been there like a shot!! One evening is not long enough to voice my concerns. Hopefully some people will speak up tho, and the meetings not dominated by those that believe that in time things are gonna just magically turn round if we keep the faith!
How dare we criticize our team? Who do we think we are, hey? Just because we pay our money give up our time, travel all over the north, does not give us the right to say we should see our team play with any passion or even win a game does it? How dare u criticize these awful performances. Those that have said its time 4 nige to step down hang your heads in shame!
Fair comment but Nigel is always available to talk to supporters after games and after training.
Don’t believe in magical turn arounds meself, think it needs personnel changes (2 new ones on at Nantwich is a start), hard work, organisation, time and a little bit of luck!
As I said a while back in 30 years of watching weve had 3 yrs under Brian Booth, 4 years under Stan allan/POB, 1 season under Nigel and 2 years under JV which could be deemed succesful, so by definition there is 20 years there where we have struggled/held our own.
Football is about supporting through the bad times, its easy to support in the good times!
Danny - I replied to your 1st post but have now seen your childish 2nd post.
We all have equal right to criticise, especially when you put time and effort in, and despite my eternal support for the CLUB I too criticise the team where I see lack of effort and inadequacies but I am also realistic enough to know we won’t be succesful every season and that the events of this close season were unprecedented, and we as a CLUB are still recovering.
Equally I don’t have blind faith, but more a sense of realism, and I no doubt like Nigel knows that if we perform like we have been doing we will be relegated.
Have you met my assistant the lovely Debbie McGee!!!
A turnaround will have nothing to do with magic, it will need hard work, commitment, loyalty, tough decision making, considered direction and above all support. Add to that time and patience.
I am getting bored over stressing the point that it does not happen inside 10 weeks.
Criticising players and performances is fine, however the same applies, if we slated Val and Rueben after an hour of football on Tuesday then it would be unfair given the amount of time played - the same goes for the management were the efforts can be slower to yield results.
One could argue that Mr Maamria performed magic last season but the effects have clearly worn off!!!
