Alvechurch away - 1-0 down to I think 6-1 winners on the road to Wembley

St Albans away was good, from memory there was a tree right in the middle of one of the standing areas behind the goal, and then had missiles thrown at the coach on way home.

Getting run through Alty was memorable although not that funny at the time!!
I was at the ST Albans game, and I remember we were under the cosh towards the end of the game, and their supporters started throwing missiles onto the pitch. Mark Lillis went over to the referee with 4mins of play left to go, and strongly suggested to him to blow his whistle before somebody got hurt. The referee kindly obliged, and the game ended on 86mins with a Witton win. Very canny Mark!
I seem to remember at St Albans having to go up a load of metal stairs to get to the bar, however being allowed to take your pint in to the ground made up for the unecessary workout in obtaining it!!
You coming to the Salford game next week VMMP? ;)
Ill even give you a lift
FA Trophy quarter final at Layer Road against Colchester United. We won 2-0 with Joe Connor scoring both goals deep into injury time. One of his goals was scored by Joe receiving the ball on the halfway line infront of the main stand and beating everybody before smashing the ball into the net infront of us all.

The term smash and grab was invented from this day on.

Some united fans at the final whistle poured onto the pitch goading us for a response. One lad was pulled to the ground by a police dog.

Quite sensational from start to finish.
Ahh the police dog incident - I remember it well. A proper good day out that one

Colchester away has to be one of, if not the, favourite all time albion game for me. What a day out that was, joey connor was a different class. Also have fond memories of trips to Halifax, Bury and Preston around the same time and going down to Farnborough, crikey that was a long trip. Remember going down to kettering and putting all my money in a fruit machine before the game, and i think we got beat that day too  Also any game when we turned v**s over will forever live in the memory

Farnborough away and the other end of the country Whitley Bay away on a proper cold day. Morecambe away with Brendan Burke netting the winner in a 1-0 victory. Going for pre-match beers down on the front and having to leg it back to make the kick off. Any away game at Matlock or Leek is always a top day out as well.

Curzon away playoff final 2011/2012 a game which we dominated from start to finish won 3-0 stott 2 and titch (cue pitch invasion) the witton faithful in great voice from start to finish so much so didn’t hear the curzon fans! Fitting end to a great season. Great day all round.
