FC have penalty saved 71mins

Yikes !!!
Are we going for a cricket score ?
Do we keep the faith?
Faith who?

Attendance 2201

Don’t rub it in please.

5-3 (Rod Thornley 90mins)

Full time

It is painfully obvious that we need Pritch back in the heart of the defence ASAP but it seems to have been a good fightback.
WHS.

Absolute disgrace! Changes need to be made, NOW!!!

Bad day at the office yes but I disagree we were not a disgrace.

Can’t give teams a head start like we did today though.

Credit to Nigel we played better when he made the changes. Credit also to FC United they played some good football and the score could easily have ended up 8-3. Can understand some supporters getting upset but some of the comments heard were out of order. If we don’t continue to support the team in every way we can then we will not have a team to support.

Keep the faith

Well said Eli.

I think Nige learnt more about his players today than during all the other matches played so far.

I think I am going to be busy over the next couple of weeks.

Agree with you Eli,we were not great today 1st half but the only disgrace today was some of the comments from some of our own supporters in my opinion.

People put time/money/effort into this club and will argue that they expect better but some of the negative comments i heard today will get us nowhere.

2nd half was a huge improvement but unfortunately we got off to a bad start and it was always gonna be very difficult to come back from it.

We must remain supportive yes but some players must also earn the respect of the people who pay their wages and run the club they play for by showing some passion/interest/desire during 90 minutes.

Certain players were applauded from the field at the end of the match that shows you something. They were not all a disgrace which sums TT point up.

Tuesday is a massive game now (it was anyway but…) and it’d be nice to see some of those who turned up today bother with a home match, when its at our ground and we get some financial benefit from it. We can’t run the club on away days.

Keep the faith.

I disagree with fans leaving early today, but the negative comments i understand, after the poor run of results and all fans remaining positive and ‘keeping the faith’, that will only last so long. Its not a lot to ask for to expect better, when u come off the back of a 3-1 home defeat, i thought today we would turn it round, and we embarrased ourselves, thaker again on the bench til we go 3-0 down, and then expected to come on and turn it round.

“Fans” quite often leave early I’ve noticed. Supporters tend to stay and encourage their team.

lets just hope nige has noticed that ross made alot of difference out there today
if he dusnt get on 1st 11 soon i dont understand it

Think nige knows now Ross should be starting, and tuesday should see him start as i believe we may have seen the end of Smudge(who i still think can be a useful squad player and worth keeping on the books, just not starting every week). Ross messaged me before saying he was unhappy at letting the fans down, when in reality he didnt, it was several others.

And why the hell has Dan Schwarz not been starting he has been quality in defence all season. He got dropped last sat to play Drew out of position, some things are getting beyond belief.

Just watched the highlights and the commentator said that was the best they had seen FC play . Not making any excuses for our display but sometimes in football when it’s not your day - it’s not your day.

First game ive managed to get to this season and couldnt believe how poor we played in the first half, like others have said tho it doesnt help the team when there being barracked by their own supporters, thought 2nd half was a far better performance and was very impressed by thacker who surely needs to be one of the first names on the team sheet every week.
on a brighter note we won the 2nd half 2-1:P
