Ground share

Rushe and Vics are going so I will return. Why am I vilified for taking a position based on my conscience whilst those who have stopped coming because results are poor are barely mentioned.
I will NEVER apologise for wanting to support a whiter than white football club.

If you have been buying and reading a programme each week you will have read a short history of our club. The articles are based on a booklet by my friend Paul Lavell and he gave me permission to edit them into articles for the programme. I signed them as “The Old Codger” as that is what I am and I had no real wish to receive any plaudits for doing the work but your insults have forced my hand. No, I have not been to games but my words about my beloved club have.
WHS.

Zzzzzzzzzzz

I’m with WHS. Now that Vics are gone I’m going to get down the club and volunteer. Quite open to the idea of 1874 coming in. Know a few of their fans and they are all well up for it

One final comment for Knitsfordian and others re my contribution to the club. Each of those articles in the programme took about 2-3 hours to edit and write, there were 27 in all so let us say it took me 60 hours or so to do. How many of you have put in 60 hours unpaid work for the club this season? At the “Living Wage” employing someone to do it would have cost the club over £400 so though I have not been present I have done my bit and I ask again, “Have you”?

Heard whispers that the Arabs are with us again next season

JR might be spending some time at her majesty’s pleasure so he might not be around

thats what it is a rumour so dont lets start another rumour what grows into something thats not happening we need to pull together and stop all this bickering we will be stronger if we all pull together

What’s the obsession with telling people what they can and can’t post on an unofficial forum?

As for it not being true, how do you know? We are a small club and people talk. News travels fast.

Vics going back? Witton would not dare surely? The board should resign if they are even considering it.

Which ones Baggie, old or new?

Which ones Baggie, old or new?[/quote]

He means Northwich Vics - it must be garbage ( I hope so for Witton`s sake ) as you, like us, like to be known as a “family” club.

The original Arabs if rumours are true, and JR is not an official of them anymore nor the owner- due to his bankruptcy. We wait with baited breath WHS is already sat with finger poised on the Keyboard !

Personally can’t see it myself, but I would rather have the real Vics back than those self righteous clowns 2012! And at the end of the day £20,000 a year is a lot of money and you are kidding yourself if you think money doesn’t rule football nowadays, not happy if true but credit to the board for sourcing money

Good luck in trying to convince yourself that a certain man has had nothing whatsoever to do with the club for the past few years. I am pretty sure you don’t believe it yourself. There will only ever be one puppet master whilst NVFC exist and everyone knows it.

Same stance as always, we dont police the league or other clubs we leave that to the FA and the leagues they have to pass their tests, if we do decide to allow them to share again next season then we will have good reasons to do so-one of them will be extra income of course. UTA

Let’s hope they don’t go up so that we end up being tenants in our own ground, arranging games around them.

I do sincerely hope this “rumour” is not true. I bloody well love The Albs and my support wavered with us allowing that green scum back into town. Everyone who believes in the integrity of football ought to know that they should have been gone, and that Rushe’s brother now being the “owner” is a pathetic sham. To take any more money from them would be a disgrace.

I also hope that this rumour is untrue. Surely the club isn’t solely reliant on rent money from NVFC??? I fear that the answer will be “you got any better ideas to make up the shortfall”.

If JR is proven guilty and its a big IF do you really think that authorities are going to leave it there?

They (Police, HMRC, Interpol) will continue to investigate possible links with other mystery investors looking for bigger fish and not the minnow that is JR and you may be thinking of inviting this football club back to share your ground knowing some of the issues surrounding some of its alleged investment strategies.

At the risk of sounding “self righteous” there is an ethical dimension here and your football club has a moral responsibility to my town and many of the young people who live in it including members of my family.
