Ground share

In Summary -
Witton have entered into a credit agreement with a declared bankrupt owner of a company with an infamous reputation for not paying debts.
Witton do not have the resources to pursue a court case.
Witton will be increasing their overheads and utility bills to cover twice the number of home matches without receiving a rental payment.

Please explain how that will increase chances of promotion?

No, as no one on the board at the Club you are on about has any of the above -

Witton do not have the resources to pursue a court case.
They do have the resources but it is thought those monies would be better spent putting a decent side out rather than using it to pay lawyers

Witton will be increasing their overheads and utility bills to cover twice the number of home matches without receiving a rental payment.

They will receive the payments, otherwise it is a breech of contract which would mean the league and FA would back Witton as it is to be seen as a football debt, which always get paid as a priority

Please explain how that will increase chances of promotion?

See the answer to question 2

Ps as an aside, I have never supported a football club because of who the Chairman is/was I support a club because I was brought up with my father supporting them and would never change, just for instance like Newcastle, Aston Villa, Portsmouth, and many many more who hate with a passion the men running THEIR club but will never stop supporting them and start their own team and start hating those who stayed. Those that run the new WInsford team always accepted the Chairmen’s hospitality as their old club at both home and away games, I guess they got to like being able to sit at the top table.

also just a note. Vics supporters have agreed that we are going to run a separate bucket collection at our home matches next season which we will give to Witton to help contribute towards the costs of the pitch.

Well said Colin B but your final comment about a bucket collection by Vics to help maintain the ground is a bit pointless as I doubt many Vics supporters will contribute as it is not their pitch, they use it that is all. I live in hope that Vics pay up but I would still much prefer them gone which I think will happen if Rushe is found guilty.

Lovely the way Colin is being so magnanimous, especially after the comments aimed at him when Witton tried to kick them out a few weeks ago.

Alan has hit the nail on the head. What makes everyone think that Vics will continue to pay up, on time during the whole season when in the past it has been a fight to get money out of them when they know they have to pay it ASAP. They know that with the new agreement in place, Witton will not be able to kick them out. I reckon the first couple of payments will come through, then…

Wow! Given the phantom attendance figures published by Vics may just raise enough money to buy…well, a bucket!!

There’s little…then there’s f**k all!. :stuck_out_tongue:
Guess which ones closer to what you’ll be getting?

I believe our board are decent, honest men but some of their decisions over the last few years have been poor to say the least. Signing Foster, giving Tuck another chance, trying to cover up an assault, messing Mr Witton about for no good reason and choosing to do a deal with the Devil to name but a few. None of these decisions did us any good at all either on the field or off. However, though I said I would boycott matches, whilst Rushe and Vics polluted our ground I have decided it is time for us all to pull together and recognise that though the source of this cash stinks to high heaven it will be put to good use, providing of course we actually get any!

If Rushe is found guilty and given Wittons close association with Rushe, his toxic reputation and his private football club I wonder how many of the local businesses will continue with sponsorship or advertising at Witton.

I suspect it may be something that a business may not wish to be associated with?

Fortunately it is none of my concern.

why was foster a bad signing?

Don’t get him going mate

Fear Not Mr Blackie, the bucket is now more than half full after Vics finished 3rd in the Grand National and quiet a few Trickies won a few bob. Ps know your unhappy about the Winsford Whingers playing on Monday and Tuesday so you would be more than welcome to come and watch the Vics on Wednesday.

Mr Fallows (Major Major, Winston, John Lilbottom, Northwich Local) why do you keep harping on our about moral and ethics when your HQ in Northwich for social gatherings and what not is the home of a convicted fraudster as publicised in the Northwich Guardian.

As for coming Wednesday, tried a few games, thought about coming back then realised what a stupid mistake that would be!
Rather not be associated with the drug money thanks…i’ll leave that to the spineless greedy Witton scum!!!

Don’t be such a tart!!

Dont take it out on us Blackie boy just because you fell out of love with your proper club and dont really like the pious sham of a club you have picked up as second best and unfortunately that is where it will stay second best -No History-No ground. UTA
