Any chance that we could have a sign like this one that’s says home of witton abion fc and Northwich Victoria fc?? I think it would be good for advertising and marketing for both clubs
I do hope you jest sire and speak with tongue firmly in cheek . Landlord doesn’t advertise his or her property as the home of the tenant . This is a nonstarter full stop .

I dont understand why its a none starter it makes perfect sense if we are a partner what else do we get then in addition to playing home games can we charge for parking and can we run our own cafe and can we open our own cub shop to try and make some money back from the rent, do we run the bar like we did at barnton ground
I’m not up to date with the internet slang so Im not sure if that an insult but I hope not. We all got on well during our last partnership so what’s changed since them I just want both senior clubs in Northwich to get along and prosper and get back to where we both belong. If that takes a compromise from Witton then it’s only a small price to pay we have our volunteers to help youre groundsman and we will bring a lot of additional money with entertainment nights at our social club, so thing of the bigger picture not just the tiny screen.
Why am I not a Northwich Victoria FC fan trying to stir the sh*t? After all Witton and Vics rivalry is legendary, we’ve never got along. Do you think that every Witton fan and every Vics fan is happy ground-sharing? The only ones that are happy are the deluded ones that think both clubs can survive in each others pockets. So don’t insult me by suggesting that I’m an 1874 Northwich FC fan just because it suits your perception, when in actual fact I’m a hard core vics fan with a different opinion and agenda compared to some of our BPD fan base who have forgotten their true roots
Well that’s nonsense for a start off as we haven’t had a reserve side for several years. What we have had is the development squad, youth teams and juniors, that’s all going is it?
We have had a Reserve side Paul, they played at Moss Farm on Saturday afternoons. This was their first season in the Crewe & District Football League and they ran alongside the Development Squad.
Thanks for the clarification mate. I have to say I have not spoken to one Wittoner that knows exactly what we have anymore but as I understand it now we have:
Development Squad
Reserve Side
Youth teams (U 18’s, U15’s etc)
Juniors
What is the difference between the Development squad and the reserve side and why do we have/need both? If SCL “Wittoner” is correct in what he says it can only be a good thing imo and not a negative as he portrays.
I agree losing our "Reserve set up "is no major worry it was frankly too removed from the 1st team in its level to be of help to the club but maybe a link to the juniors but we still have the youth team. UTA
Agree 100% CJ. Keeping a good youth and junior set up is key to the future of the club. Why we have gone down certain roads in recent times with lower crowds and income I will never understand though I’ve always tried too.
