Disappointing result against very average opposition. Despite taking the lead right on half term we did not take the game to them in the second half and at the moment one goal isn’t enough of a lead for us to to defend.

Lets hope for better in the three remaining fixtures.

Still all to play for, Chasetown have four difficult games in seven and Leek have to play Chasetwon twice. It looks like Mickleover are there, Belper are gone, Leek have too hard a run in but Sheefield look pretty well paced. Glapweel have an easy run in but still got six games to play. I think we might sneak in ahead of Belper, Leek and Glapwell or possibly Kidsgrove, they have Chasetown away for their last match. See you Saturday.
WHS.

Although i dont want to admit it i think the seasons over after todays result :frowning:

Personaly i dont think the keeper was to blame for the equalizer as ther wasnt anywhere else that he could have pushed the ball to apart from a cammel lairds foot

I also dont think the performance was bad first half the football was slow and if the cammel laird defender didnt put it in the net im sure Ronnie Morgan would have done.

Second half much better but with one break whilst we were attacking is all it takes and they showed that today
Overall cammel lairds deserve to be in the play off fight aswell with their performance one of the better oppositions we have faced this season

Bring on saturday

kidsgrove 1 leek 2
sheffield 0 glapwell 0

witton still in 3rd and two points separate 2nd - 8th again with all teams having games in hand on witton & belper

chasetown v leek
glapwell v lairds
wednesday

considering how many games chasetown have in hand it might be best for them to stuff leek (in both games)
