I am a Halifax Town fan living down in Spain, Do you think Jim Vince can do a good job for us?
I think he’ll get you close to winning stuff then bottle it. He’ll have your team playing pretty football but you will get punished by big teams (a bit like Arsenal) and then to top it all, he’ll stab you in the back and go elsewhere - probably followed by all your players - and leave your club in turmoil. I bet you wish you never asked!!!
If the money is there, then he will do a good job for you. I’m sure you will get into the play offs anyway.
If the money isn’t there, then i expect he’ll struggle and wont be around for that long. I’d expect to see him turn up at Droylsden at some point if things weren’t going to plan.
Take every word that comes out of his mouth with a pinch of salt.
But sticking to the football, yes you’ll play some good stuff and i’m sure you’ll win a decent percentage of games and score alot of goals. After your recent turmoil he’s probably the right man for the job (in the short term).
If you’re living in Spain, you have no doubt noticed the number of eastern block hookers, plying their trade on every roundabout.
I would liken JV to one of those hookers. He will give you a great time, give you what you want, and tell you everything you want to hear, but when you wake up in the morning, he will be gone, along with all your belongings and all your money out of your wallet.
P.S I am not talking from experience!
You cant fail to miss the girls, you are hard pressed to miss them . anyway everything is not paradise here, I may get great fish and chips,pies and even curries but I miss watching the shaymen!!
Surely the fact that you’re not in Halifax makes up for that? 
I dont even know what players we have but it said on the local paper he trained them for the first time tuesday night, they could be your entire first team from what you say… he cant register any players till next week according to the paper.
Yes Halifax is not exactly like here in Calahonda, hang on just having a swig of my bacardi and coke while I work. Its hot today!!

Matt Woolley is so far the only player to have gone to Halifax, young central midfielder, only played a couple of times for us last season but is very talented

We had a nucleus of a good team last year, the best have been sold and I dont even know one player who is left.
We had 2 good centre halves, we just need a goalie who can catch…

i do not think that mr.vince will stay at halifax for very long as we all know that when the pressure is on he bottles it. i think that in 12 months from now he will be the manager of broadheath or timperley vics

…or Droylsden. I was shocked, amazed and surprised (all in one) to see that Halifax had arranged a pre-season friendly against Droylsden. It’s a small world!
