It appears that another club could be in trouble. Has anyone else heard a rumour that Vics have gone into administration?
 Thread to this effect on the Vics forum. No confirmation - yet?!
threads been deleted.
thats one way of dealing with administration. or is it the connett way.
I have been saying that Vics are on the way to oblivion for some time. Their owners must have lost a packet on the Stock Market and are sure to want to unload any asset that is not paying its way, and Vics certainly are not. Anyone know exactly how we stand finacially? I know we have assets, the ground etc. but how much in debt excatly are we?

Not true a daft rumour that got posted on are forum which was deleted by the moderators thankyou:laugh:
thanks for your reply matt.

Vics fan, I will lay money that it turns out to be true. There is no smoke without fire. Time you came back to our ground where you few supporters won’t get lost in the acres of space you have at Connett’s ground, oh and our electricity bill has been paid. Seriously, a ground share is the only sensible option left open to you, you can’t go on as you are, and neither can we for that matter. I don’t want amalgamation, but sharing costs makes perfect sense. Mind you, by the time you read this it maybe already too late.

Just been on the Vics web site. Deary me, they have got their knickers in a twist!!! Sounds to me that there is a lot of truth in the rumour and that is why,as Shalespeare said “Me thinks you doth protest too much”

Re ground sharing we are already ground sharing!
Re our debts - that would be covered at an AGM. (not dodging the subject WHS just its not for posting on here!)
Needless to say our electric wont get cut off!
But a coffee maker, deep fat fryer, dustpan and brush, and a tin-opener would be gratefully received. Not sure where the last ones went?
Are these items for the social club or the snack bar? I maybe able to help out with a couple of items, I will have a look around the house.

Manager Marsh has now walked out
Oh how I wish I could take satisfaction from this, but the way things are at Witton I just can’t.
WHS.
anybody else heard the rumour that Vics have asked for an emergergency meeting with our board to discuss coming to WP?
What,three teams sharing one ground???
Don’t know the detail, just that it seems NVFC are in deep doo dahs and are looking at their options, so to speak. Has anyone else heard of any approaches?
I hope there isn’t a dialogue with them lot at all.
Runcorn are good tenants.
Why spoil it??
Dear vi8,
The reason for considering having Vics back is simple, MONEY. They have more supporters than Runcorn, eat more pies and drink more beer. They will also be expected to pay a bigger rent. Who knows, rather than continuing to support a club with no ground their present owners may wish to invest in Witton instead once they see our potential. I have no interest in whether Vics survive or not, but if they can help us financially while they are still around I say let’s go for it.
