O dear, v#cs part two.

Got a great view of all the vans turning up a the VS today.

At present there is a nice Bentley parked just inside the gates. Any takers.

Did hear last night that Jim Rush stated he had secured the funds to buy the VS, but that he couldn’t afford to run the team.

Seems like Vics will be doing a Telford.

If Jim Rushe drives a BMW, it certainly looks like him, then he has not been allowed access to VS so far this morning, this car and a few others have been parked outside the gates for well over an hour.

There have been a few car let in.

A lady and gentleman on the gate have been arguing with another manfor over half an hour.

I don’t know the full legal process for what is going on, but it does seem strange not to allow access to a potential buyer.

Looks like Vics are moving Saturday’s game to Alty.

Love the comments from the Vics fan on the website slagging Connett. No doubt about it the guy is a tw@ BUT they seem to forget that without him the Stadium would not have been completed, they wouldn’t have had their ‘day out’ at Sunderland, and Steve Burr’s tenure would not have happened.

When they wake up and smell the coffee they may realise that Stone, and Nuttall started the rot with their pigheadedness at trying to build a ground that they couldn’t afford and now they have another bunch of idiots, lead by Mr Rushe who can’t seem to add up either.

All are guilty of spending money they haven’t got and making promises they can’t keep!

Up the Alb’s

You can’t help but feel sorry for them though can you.

:stuck_out_tongue:

i think we should show a bit of unity with our good neighbours, and have

a minutes silence on this board in respect

thank you.

You only have a minutes silence for the dead, they are not dead. (YET.)
WHS.

are witton ok from financial turmoil at the minute

Turmoil would be a bit strong, but like any club without any home league games in three weeks this has an impact on cashflow. The difference being that we have no significant creditors looking to repossess our assets, no massive debt to service and are running at one of the tightest playing budgets in the league. I think most clubs at this level of the game live on a ‘hand to mouth’ basis.

We need to generate more funds, again as most do, but given that we are in the 3rd week of the most difficult trading month and in the middle of a global recession, our finances are not threatening our immediate survival.

I can let you know where to send your donation Billy if you need the address?

 Vics groundsharing at Altrincham tomorrow as the Marston Arena is ‘currently unavailable’?!

From the Vics board…

most embarrassing moment of the night? in the club afterwards as our players looked on enviously as the witton squad got their paypackets

Genius!!

Thanks to the V*cs fans who attended the Friendly for paying our players wages.

Heard V*cs have had to borrow a kit for today’s game as theirs is locked in the Marston’s Arena!!!

Is there any truth in the rumour that Jim Rushe is trying to buy Witton shares ?

A reported 428 at Alty.If you knock off the season ticket holders etc, I would think that gate would struggle to pay Alty - looks like another week with no wages for the Vics players

He can have mine for £2M

I’ve heard that Vics players might be going on strike over player wages! I find it hard to believe that Ryan Clarke and Robbo have signed 18 month deals. They way were going the Histon game might have been are last. Were due for a winding up petition on Jan 28th, same day that Connet’s due in court for the UMPTEENTH time!

In tomorrows Chronicle you can read about “Constants” by “Just William.” There have always been two teams in the town, but even that may not be a “Constant”, we shall see.
WHS.

Ive been reading all the posts on the site regarding Vics position . after the last 2/3 years its really getting like a sad soap opera.
But I agree with an earlier post, the rot set in many many years ago, theyve always lived it up as a big club, poorly managed, but always seem to “get away with it”. But I think they are treading waterand its all caught up with them.

Don’t FLAMIN talk about things you don’t understand. The rot set in when Mike Connett took over this club and poured millions of pounds into proposals for astro turfs, are bar and restaurant etc… that we didn’t have. I laughed when he said we could potentially get average gates of 1700! It all started to go financially down the drain when we left the Drill field and spent money on a stadium we couldn’t afford. I’ve always wondered why we didn’t attempt to repair the Drill field, even though it would have taken a lot because it was in some state.
