Can you tell me if the players have been training once a week? If so what is the reason for this?

Are you talking about the Northwich players?
We have tenants paying rent, a new ground sponsorship deal and with thanks to Noel a rejuvenated Social Club. Why week in week out for the past 2 years at least are supporters having to watch absolute dross on the football pitch?
Why would I be talking about northwich?
That my friend is the million dollar question and the one I want answered too. You can add to that question the fact that we have one of the biggest fan bases in the league and pay the most in the league for the privilege of watching it.
Agree where this thread is going. Great Social Club, tenant income, higher than average league home gates, best sponsorship deal in a decade (NetDec, Chairman’s words). How do other clubs with a hell of a lot less out perform us constantly. I accept we are conservative and we are prudent and I endorse that over boom and bust but we are punching well below our weight. If we are servicing some kind of debt, again, I agree we need to pay that down 1st before building. But let us know ( no detail needed, just a confirmation). Something doesn’t add up currently. Maybe Trevor is eating about 400 quids worth of Sandwiches each week ;).
Sums up my thoughts perfectly and I still haven’t found anyone that can explain this. Turn it on its head and we have played Osset Albion today who have no tenant income, no brilliant social club, much less of a fan base, no big sponsorship deal and we’ve been turned over 4-0. That can not be right and it makes no sense whatsoever.
Here is my question:
Which board member interviewees did not vote for Pritch despite him already being offered the job?
PS - I already know that Mark voted for Pritch to return and that Trevor voted against (he has said that himself) which leaves Reg, Neil and John Salmon.
I heard a rumour it was a 4 to 1 vote.
As for our team there is no consistency in team selection. I fail to see how bringing loads of young players on 1 month loan deals will change this anytime soon. By the time they start to settle, they’ll be back with their parent clubs. 3 tough games coming up, can we keep a manager that loses their first 7 games in charge?

So Mark was the only one that voted for Pritch. My faith in our board is complete and fully explains our current plight. Jesus Christ I have heard it all.

You can not blame the manager for that if that is the clubs philosophy!!!
i still cant get my head round the fact that pritch even needed an interview.he did’nt leave us for another side he left for his own personnal reasons that he made clear.he’s taken 12 months out of football to get himself sorted out and now after 20+ years loyal service to our club some members of the selection panel have crapped all over him.getting him back would’ve got some fans back and he was always one for bringing good new players in.the way the new manager has started it’s got last season under sully written all over it and he’s got his work cut out keeping us up.where is daisy hill anyway.
Given that the job had already been offered to Pritch, and that Mark voted for him in the interview process anyway, it would suggest to me that he was influenced/bullied into the interview process by other people or a person on the board. I’m not going to name names but I have my own strong suspicions on who that was.

I don’t think Harris did vote for Pritch, didn’t he say that he was persuaded to vote elsewhere?
All shareholders get an invite to the AGM where the companies finances (including the debt which is being furnished on an ongoing basis) is there for all to see.
Yes its a limited company and the board do produce accounts on an annual timely basis and present it to the the Shareholders and present the facts behind the previous year and club events and look forward to the next year, nothing is hidden all costs, expenses and income are clear to be seen, the board has always made it clear our stadium is very expensive to run and draws down a lot of our income to support on its own, so anyone who is interested or so minded can buy a few shares and get access to our business.
And of course we do have debts which are explained and are described as serviceable to pay down. So financially we are doing ok but certainly not flush with cash and we manage prudently. Our main issue as I see it is getting the football side of our business wrong over the last couple of years which has obviously not been done deliberately as others have said no one wants to pick a bad manger and ( apart from not appointing Pritch ) I gladly accepted all the appointments. All this talk of a new board new chairman etc is fine but We would need a viable option and I dont see any ! rumours of a takeover were about but surely any such idea should be well planned and presented to Shareholders for support or not, I for one would struggle to accept a takeover from an outside person or body without some good experience of them - clubs have got in serious trouble by takeovers from unknown money men.
As for the new manager our elected board made a decision to interview and it was well know, the fact that an interview panel then decided by majority to appoint Carl is again understandable but the story around Pritch leaves a bad taste if that is all true and I guess the board will answer any questions at the fans forum being planned along with other questions.
@simmo_on_sport: “We will not hold forum for fans until tempers have calmed and a rational discussion can be had,” writes @wittonalbionfc chairman.
I would have thought a fans forum was an ideal opportunity to put a few wrongs right. All the fans want is some answers. It isn’t an unreasonable request and I do not remember a previous fans forum where a calm and rational discussion wasn’t had.

If you can get hold of Tuesdays programme answers were given in the chaiman’s article.

Agree entirely mate. I would have thought it is in the clubs interest to hold a fans forum pretty sharpish.

I wasn’t at the game on Tuesday and therefore couldn’t buy a programme but I strongly suspect none of the questions that the fans want answered weren’t mentioned or even thought of in the chairman’s article.
