Witton are on the road on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Ramsbottom United in a Northern Premier League West Division fixture.
Seven points from four home games in February has consolidated Albion’s position in the table and kept them in the mix for the play off places.
Ramsbottom are currently bottom of the table and have won three of fourteen home games, and have recently appointed former FC United of Manchester midfielder and assistant manager Dave Chadwick as manager after dispensing with the services of Lee Donafee.
The Rams have gone nine games without a win, their last victory being back on Boxing Day at home to Trafford.
Witton will be looking to complete the double over their opponents following their 5-1 win at the U Lock It Stadium earlier in the season.
After going behind to Ben Halfacre’s first half penalty, a brace from Mike Koral followed by further strikes from Ben Harrison, Elliot Rokka and a Jack Grimshaw own goal gave Witton a comfortable victory.
Ramsbottom’s last game a week ago saw them narrowly beaten by Bootle but an influx of new players will hopefully give them a chance of survival.
The appointment of a new manager can sometimes instill renewed confidence in a side and games against teams in Ramsbotttom’s situation, are often the most testing as they have nothing to lose and go out with more determination.
So Witton will have to perform in order to gain the right result.
Kick off at Harry Williams Riverside Stadium is 3pm.

Putnam, Haywood, Lawrie
Duckworth, Igoe, Rokka
Assuming the others still injured. Good luck lads. UTA
