Should we bail them out again?????

With the news that Vics are homeless again should we once again save them from going under? I was going to set up a poll but don’t seem to be able to so you’ll just have to reply!

My vote is NO - just because of all the abuse we’ve recieved since the last time not a single one of them grateful!

I’ve put this under Witton by the way as I feel it is definetly a witton topic

I don’t think they would be able to use HfH due to Evo Stik League rules

I understand why people would say no… but id say yes on a cash only basis . but will it be actually worth it.
After possible point deductions etc whos going to be interested in watching them ?

By taking the cash now aren’t we just looking in the short term? Anyway I’ve just spoke to a director and he tells my that H4H Stadium is fully booked for the rest of the season - after Jim Rush and the league made groundsharing a mute point in September the board went out and signed agreements with Macc Town and the Cheshire FA to stage games and we are not the type of Club to renege on an agreement even if more money was on offer.

Definitely NOT.

Spot on GE.
We do indeed have several agreements in place and we are not that type of club.

No. Why help them to bounce back again.Any money from them i consider it to be dirty money.

I do not think we should pre-judge anything. If their offer would help us financially to increase Pritch’s budget, and get out of this league, then we should consider it, so long as it is cash up front.

TT - how many times would you invite your least best friend round for a drink if all he did was slag you off and say the drink was crap.

Enough is enough. Yes the money would be nice but not if you continually had a battle to get it and if you thought the offer would be appreciated.

Commercially, since the MC days they’ve not helped us as the local businesses find us guilty by association of being a football club in the area. Businesses won’t support local football because of the way they’ve been run over the years.

GE

NO NO NO NO NO NO
NEVER AGAIN

JUST SAY NO!!! They have “stolen” what success they have had over the last twenty years or so, time to pay the bill. If Witton bail them out here is one supporter who will NEVER forgive them.
WHS.

We should use this to our advantage, Let them groundshare but do it on our terms and ensure they pay upfront. Just think how satisfying it would be to have that shower from over the canal eating from the palm of our hands. We all know who is and always has been the number one club in the town and nothing pleases me more than to show all their supporters (who have rubbished us for years) how a proper football club should be run.

I wondered how long it would be before we got the blame, did you know it is the Wittoners on the planing commitee that has chucked them out  . anyway no to sharing the ground, why would they want to play here, its a shit ground with shit fans and crap beer, and built on a swamp  how many times have we bailed them out and not a word of thanks, just bitterness and insults. up the Albion, the best (and only team) in Northwich. See you all Saturday UTA

I do not think we should pre-judge anything. If their offer would help us financially to increase Pritch’s budget, and get out of this league, then we should consider it, so long as it is cash up front.

Agree TT - it could turn out to be a long term rental if they have to reform again with no ground to play on !

definately not, they are a cheating club with ungrateful fans. if it had not been for the best club in town, namely witton, they would have been out of business by now. so let them stew in the quigmire they have made for themselves, and concern ourselves with cheering on this squad of players to promotion and reinforce our belief that we are the best, most honest and proudest club in town. come on witton.

With any luck we will be the ONLY team in town soon. Vics have cheated their way to success for getting on for twenty years spending other people’s money, now the club AND its supporters must finally pay the price, extinction! Under NO circumstances must we help them survive, they don’t deserve to. THe increae in our gates will more than compensate for any revenue they might have brought in; with them gone the only choice for football fans who want to watch a local semi professional team will be us.
WHS

Speaking as someone that owns a small business. I say no to Bailing Vics out. I know of many small businesses that never got the money they were owed. Other`s only got part payment.

Any small business cant afford for someone not to pay them. Its about time, that time caught up with Northwich.

DEAD RIGHT Pencil.
WHS.

I would rather see us in the Vodkat League than assist and be associated with Northwich Victoria Ltd/Holdings Whatever Year FC.
Surely enough is enough of their dishonesty and deceit over the last two decades

Difficult one to consider but my initial reaction would be NO!

Yes, I understand there may be financial incentives which may (note may) be beneficial to us. But we would need guarantees and up front payments which will not happen. And, if we have existing commitments, then of course, we must honour them.

However, my overriding thought is the absolute bu****it their fans have dished out to us over the years regarding their previous tenancy at WP. A lot of people have said they feel sorry for their fans in all of this, well I don’t. If they hadn’t been so ungracious and belligerent in the past, then perhaps local people, teams and businesses might treat them differently.

You reap what you sow V**s, you reap what you sow…
