Merger? To have a merger two or more things must come together, Vics don’t really exist except in Rushe’s imagination so how can they “merge” with anything, Goodbye and good riddance to a club who have reneged on their debts once too often. And don’t feel sorry for the fans, they knew people were spending non existent money but were happy because it brought success, but success is fleeting when you cannot back it up with REAL hard cash and now they can pay the price, us laughing at them for a change and you know what they say? “He who laughs last laughs longest.” Come on the Albs the ONLY Club in Town!!

Getting back to the topic - they are and always will be our rivals but if they reform and are run by the fans and have no one like Conman or JR at the helm then I see no reason ( other than bigotry ) why we could not be their landlords until they get a permanent ground,which could take a few years and receive a decent amount of rent like we did from Runcorn. However I think if they do reform they are looking at WPRC as a new home ?
I hate the V*cs as much as the rest of you on here. We’ll all never forget how ungrateful they were the last time they played at WP.
However, I could happily put up with their jibes if it meant that WAFC was benefiting from it. I would have no problem with Northwich playing at our ground as long as the payments were in full and in advance. If it means them slagging off our ground again so what? I’d much rather WAFC having more money to fund our promotion push and future seasons that to not let them play at our place out of principle.
Think about Left Pegger. Short term gain for us means that they carry on which is not in out long term interest. Sod em,and I add Chester, AFC Telford and AFC Halifax to that list.

Whether we like it or not, Northwich will work their way up from the NW Counties and be in our league within a few seasons anyway. They will still have more fans than us too (I hate to admit it, but their name alone is a big enough lure for most.
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, will I watch Witton again or make donations if we allow that “Disease” to share our ground. I want them GONE! A few of them have realised the Rushe can’t run a club. Too little too late, the writing was on the wall a long time ago and blatantly at the start of the season. Then went about signing players and paying them well. Yet failed ask where the money is coming from to do this. Ignorance is not an excuse!!
Don’t like seeing clubs go out of business but it’s not our responsibility.
The Vics is like the Monty Python Parrot. It is not sleeping it is dead. Alty let them play one game at Moss Lane the last time they got locked out. We got no thanks for that gesture either. Helping the Vics would be like sleeping with the devil. I say good riddance to a bad club. They will probably merge into Northwich Villa anyway.

And where pray would this new club play? Certainly nowhere in Northwich and how many locals will travel to Altrincham, Chester etc to see them play. You are wrong, once they go they will go forever, with no ground and no money they are dead in the water.
